New kit

Now THAT shirt is one I wouldn't mind being replicated. All white, so I'm not sure - maybe they'll do that as the away kit. Made by Patrick. Does that company even exist anymore? The following season, reverted back to the classic stripes (but with claret shorts) and was the first time the boars head was used. Again, wouldn't mind that at all.

I've got that 85/86 kit in the loft. I was my first kit as a kid and I even managed to get the late, great, Mr R Campbell to sign it for me. That's never going to the charity shop!

 

Wonderful! Deserves better than a loft! Sounds like the sort of thing which should be framed. Even if the Mrs doesn't allow it on the wall, its still protecting it and giving it a better service. Mine are all bagged and sealed up in boxes, waiting for the day when I (read...the Mrs) finally allow myself a man cave.

Was walking past the now shut Bolwells on Blackwood high street, and it was hanging outside on a sale rack . Cost £3 , i think ?

 

Weve had plenty of white kits for our home kit and plenty for our away so what is the difference.

The stripes with diamond seal sponsor was nice. The size of the stripes was just right. Sorry can’t remember the years? Late 90s?

 

My guess is neither hoops or stripes.

 

We wore white in the early to mid 1920s, long before Don Revie got that lot east of Pudsey wearing the colour. If we ever get a blue and yellow kit I'll lead the protest!

It’s funny how your brain plays tricks on you.
Some players just spring to mind with certain kits.
For me it’s Gavin Oliver in the Freemans one and Marco Sas in the Diamond Seal one.

Lots of other players played in them but them 2 players immediately spring to mind.

 

Must have a collar on though. It would look really classy.
